The final ONE draft; a special prerelease draft for March of the Machine; a learn-to-play event; and more!

It’s just another Magic Monday!

This is the week we say goodbye to Phyrexia: All Will Be One, as next week is the Prerelease for March of the Machine.

On the event front this week, we have Casual Commander on Tuesday, as usual. This Friday we host a Pauper Tournament as well as our final Phyrexia: All Will Be One draft of the season. ONE has held up as a pretty fun draft environment so be sure to register for this Friday’s farewell.

On Sunday we’ll be hosting a Learn to Play event at 11:00am. New players will receive Welcome Boosters, and players who bring a friend will receive a special foil promo: Thought Vessel. We hope to see lots of new friends there.

On Friday, April 14th, we’re hosting a special Prerelease Draft, which will be the first chance for Labyrinth players to get their hands on March of the Machine. There are still spaces available in that draft. And finally, it is worth mentioning that all of our Sealed Prerelease events for March of the Machine are nearly full. If you haven’t registered yet, do so soon.

This week’s featured single is a foil copy of Inferno from 7th Edition. Inferno is a fine card, and certainly playable in certain commander decks, but this card is special because of its collectability. Foil cards in Magic are notorious for warping, but older foils, including 7th Edition, are remarkably resilient and don’t “pringle” easily. And in 8th Edition, Wizards of the Coast changed the frames around cards, so 7th Edition represents the last chance to get a foil copy of certain cards in the old frame, including Inferno.
