We have a full week of unique events planned: Commander Night, a Pauper tournament, a Friday Night Magic Dino-Sized Lost Caverns of Ixalan draft, and a Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Party!

It’s just another Magic Monday!

Congratulations again to our Store Champion for Lost Caverns of Ixalan: Nolan Popow!

We have a slew of events coming up that we’re all very excited about. Firstly, we have our regular Tuesday night Commander tomorrow from 6-10pm. It always fills quickly, so show up early! On Friday, we have the return of Pauper, as well as another Dino-Sized Lost Caverns of Ixalan draft! And then big excitement this week is for the Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Party on Sunday.

The format for the commander party will be Commander Masters draft, which is already a treat of a way to play; you draft a commander deck and then battle it out in pods with the cards you’ve opened. And at a commander party there are faction-based meta games to amp up the fun. And everyone who participates gets a foil Unclaimed Territory promo card as well. This week’s featured single is Lion’s Eye Diamond, from Mirage. A staple of Legacy play, Lion’s Eye Diamond is at the intersection of powerful effect and collectability. A free spell that can quickly fill your graveyard, trigger discard effects, and generate mana is unbelievably potent. Additionally, the card is on the reserved list, meaning that Wizards of the Coast has promised to never reprint it.
