Happy New Year, everyone! With a new year come new sets, new cards, and new events!

 

We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Ravnica Remastered! To celebrate we’ll be hosting a special Preview Draft at Friday Night Magic this week alongside Modern. We’ll also be hosting a Sealed Ravnica Remastered Launch Party on Sunday, January 14th.

 

And then in February, Magic releases Murders at Karlov Manor, which means, we’ll be hosting prerelease events! Again, we’ll be hosting a draft on Friday, February, 2nd, a Sealed League the morning of the 3rd, traditional Sealed events Saturday and Sunday the 4th in the afternoon and a Two-Headed Giant prerelease Sunday morning. This week’s featured single is a foil Diabolic Intent from Planeshift (shown above). One generic mana and one black mana plus the cost of sacrificing a creature gets you any card in your deck. Diabolic Intent is a powerful tutor effect. Recently reprinted in The Brothers’ War, generic copies aren’t particularly hard to find. But this copy is foil.
