Getting hype for Aetherdrift, AwesomeCon prep, this week's featured single, and more!
It’s just another Magic Monday!
Spoiler season for Aetherdrift is in high gear! Be sure to get your preorders in now for Aetherdrift before they speed away! The cards we’ve seen so far are sure to get your motor running, so be certain to sign up now for Aetherdrift Prerelease the weekend of February 7-9. You can secure your spot in any of our events by heading over to our events calendar today. We’ll be running traditional Sealed Tournaments, a Sealed League, and Two-Headed Giant! Each should be a grand time.
But before we get there, we still have Tuesday Night Commander and Friday Night Magic to look forward to. This week, FNM is Innistrad Remastered Draft as well as a Modern Constructed Tournament.
Down the road, we still have more events coming! Be on the lookout for the next Regional Championship Qualifier on February 22nd, which will give you two weeks to see how Aetherdrift affects the metagame.
In April, we’re running all the tabletop gaming at AwesomeCon, including Magic: The Gathering! That weekend happens to be Tarkir: Dragonstorm prerelease, and we’ll be prereleasing at the convention! We’re looking for volunteers who are interested in helping out that weekend, particularly those who can teach multiple games or just teach Magic. If you’re interested, please fill out this form here.
This week’s featured single is Doubling Season from Foundations! This adorable art is hiding a masked friend somewhere! Despite the card being in Japanese it’s an iconic game piece with an iconic effect! Perfect for any token or counter deck looking to speed up their production.
Don't forget: if you're interested in selling your Magic collection for extra cash or store credit, email us at [email protected] to set up an appointment!
This week's winners are Evan Teng, Malcolm Cole, and Charles Boebinger went undefeated in Innistrad Remastered draft! And Alex Smith came out on top in Modern with Dimir Occu-Tide!
