A Bloomburrow release day draft; community Magic events; and more!
It’s just another Magic Monday!
We'd like to kick off this Magic Monday by thanking everyone who made this weekend’s prerelease amazing! We saw so many new and returning faces and it was so nice to see so much excitement over this adorable set! Sign ups are live for our Friday Night Release Draft of Bloomburrow, we hope to see you there!
In the next two weeks we’ll be hosting a Pauper Commander event on August 3rd, and a Modern Regional Championship Qualifier on August 10th. Pauper Commander is a unique experience with a growing community at Labyrinth, and the RCQ is a great opportunity to try your hand at competitive Magic. You can find sign ups for all these through our event calendar.
In other news, we have opened sign ups for the next Standard set, Duskmourn: House of Horrors! If Bloomburrow was too cute for you, Wizards is shifting gears drastically with Duskmourn, an entire plane that envelopes a haunted house! Pre-orders and event sign-ups can be found at the following link: https://www.labyrinthdc.com/search/duskmourn/.
The final event to highlight this week is the Capital Cube Championship 2024, benefiting So Others Might Eat. Labyrinth is happy to be providing support for the project, but this is really a community event. Cube drafts are tons of fun, and building a cube is a labor of love, so this event really highlights some of the best qualities of the Magic community. You can learn more about the August 17th event or buy tickets by heading to https://bit.ly/capitolcube2024.
