It’s just another Magic Monday!

 

It seems as if the weather has turned, and that Spring is almost in the air! It sounds like it’s the perfect time to play some Magic! There are plenty of opportunities to do that this month.

 

Tomorrow is our weekly Casual Commander night, and registration will open at noon tomorrow. For Friday Night Magic this week, we’ll be running both an Aetherdrift Draft as well as a Modern tournament. On Sunday the 23rd, we’ll be holding a special Magic Academy: Deckbuilding session where players will learn the ins and outs of building a 40-card limited deck using 6 packs of Magic. And finally, on the 30th, we’ll be hosting the Aetherdrift Store Championship.

 

And if your schedule is full for March, registration is already open for some of our April events. Namely, Tarkir: Dragonstorm prereleases. You can sign up now at at our Magic: The Gathering calendar for events both in the store and at AwesomeCon!

This week’s featured single is Greed. Greed is good. Or at least, Greed is just okay. An enchantment that lets you draw cards for a very cheap rate, Greed sees some fringe play in mono-black commander decks. This particular copy, however, is from the original printing in Legends and features art by the beloved Phil Foglio. This makes this copy particularly collectible.
