The winners of our Regional Championship Qualifier; the upcoming Lord of the Rings Set prerelease; and Magic events at Awesome Con!
It’s just another Magic Monday!
Yesterday we held our Regional Championship Qualifier! Thank you to everyone who came out to play! But special congratulations go out to our top eight finishers: Elliott Jones, William Patterson, Adonnys Medrano, Terry Stratton, Benjamin Johnson-Staub, Mini Racker, Rachel Feingersh, and Christopher Henderson!
And, extra special congratulations go out to our top two (shown above), who qualified for the Regional Championship: Benjamin Johnson-Staub, and our overall winner Christopher Henderson!
As much fun as the RCQ was, it’s time to turn our attention to what’s next on the horizon.
Upcoming Magic: The Gathering Events Including the Lord of the Rings Set Prerelease!
First up, we have Commander Tuesday night, then both Modern and March of the Machine draft at Friday Night Magic. But, we’re also just weeks away from prerelease for Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth on June 16th-18th.
We’ll be having a Friday Night Prerelease draft, a sealed Prerelease Saturday, Two-Headed Giant sealed Sunday Morning, and another sealed Prerelease Sunday afternoon. You can sign up for all of our events at https://www.labyrinthdc.com/events/calendar/.
Magic: The Gathering at Awesome Con
That same weekend, we’re also going to be at Awesome Con! We’ll be hosting Learn to Plays, Lord of the Rings drafts, and a Lord of the Rings prerelease!
