Today the store reconciled our whole singles inventory and found a bunch of cards that weren’t online.

 

We have so many events coming up! This Friday we host both Pauper and a Duskmourn draft. Down the road, our Regional Championship Qualifier on October 19th is just about half-full. We also still have a little bit of space in the special Trick or Treat sealed event on October 26th. And then it’ll be time to get ready for Foundations Prerelease on November 8th-10th.

There are a few new items with Foundations that should be of interest to new or returning players looking to learn the game. And excitingly, Jumpstart returns with Foundations! Jumpstart is always a great way to jam some quick games of Magic without worrying about deckbuilding, so it’s a ton of fun.

 

This week’s featured single is a foil Eye of Ugin from Modern Masters 2015. This card was the scourge of Modern during the “Eldrazi Winter” of 2015-2016. Eye of Ugin reduces the cost of colorless Eldrazi spells by two generic mana, which allowed players to speed out some powerful and efficient creatures. The card was eventually banned in Modern, but it still sees play in Legacy Eldrazi and in some Commander decks.
