The Ultimate Pokémon TCG Update from Labyrinth Games & Puzzles
Hey there, Trainers!
Welcome to the latest iteration of your premier source of Pokemon news for Labyrinth Games and Puzzles, the Trainer Tribune! Let’s Hop on N!
Rotation is Coming!
As of April 11th, rotation has finally come. Say goodbye to those yellow borders! As a reminder, cards labeled A-F are no longer legal for standard play. Let’s look at the winners from the last competitions that featured F cards.
Recent League Winners
Congratulations to our intrepid trainers on their excellent wins in Labyrinth's most League Challenge and League Cup events!
March League Challenge Winners

Juniors League: Alejandro G.

Bring your favorite Pokemon to come check out the following on release day!
- Destined Rivals Booster Packs
- Destined Rivals Booster Bundles containing six individual booster packs
- Destined Rivals Elite Trainer Boxes
We will be limiting purchases to one Elite Trainer Box per person and one Booster Bundle or six packs per person due to the overwhelming popularity of recent sets.
Pokémon News & Standard Rotation Update
The Pokémon TCG website confirms standard rotation will take place on April 11. Key departures include:
- Double Turbo Energy, a staple in a ton of high power and energy dependent decks.
- Lost Vacuum, one of the very few ways to remove tools from your opponents Pokemon.
- Forest Seal Stone, a great way to let any V in your deck have a search function.
Rotation has finally come and kneecapped my Chien-Pao deck, but the new kids on the block are a star shining in the darkness. Let’s take a look at one of the rising stars in the world of PTCG!
Card of the Month
Ruffian is a great utility card, replacing the Lost Vacuum that we lost in rotation. Not only can it discard a tool from your opponent’s Pokemon, it can also discard special energy. With Mega Evolutions right around the corner, taking out a Legacy Energy could make all of the difference. I am making the prediction now that Ruffian will be a staple alongside the likes of Iono and Arven.
Thanks for reading, Trainers!
We hope to see you at our May events and remember to keep food stored in sealed containers when camping. Nobody wants a curious Ursaluna to get sick!
Stay tuned for next month’s edition of Labyrinth’s Trainer Tribunal!
