Hey there, Trainers!
Welcome to the latest edition of Labyrinth’s Trainer Tribune! In this issue, we’ll cover all of our events for this month, the finalists for February, and some exciting news about the state of the game! Let’s Surf, Fly, and even Dig our way in!
Rotation is Coming!
As we inch closer to rotation like a Weedle heading into a Whirlipede, we’re always on the lookout for newer cards that replace old staples. In today’s issue we’ll cover some of those replacements and improvements! But first, let’s congratulate February’s top finishers!

April is right around the corner, as well as DC’s premier convention for everything nerdy, Awesome Con! Here’s what’s coming up:

What's Coming Soon?

Pokémon News & Standard Rotation Update
The Pokémon TCG website confirms standard rotation will take place on April 11. Key departures include:
- Double Turbo Energy, a staple in a ton of high power and energy dependent decks.
- Lost Vacuum, one of the very few ways to remove tools from your opponents Pokemon.
- Forest Seal Stone, a great way to let any V in your deck have a search function.
With all of the disappearances, you may be a little disheartened. But as we mourn their loss, let’s take a look at one of the most exciting cards to come out in recent days.
Card of the Month
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a card like this, which I’m calling a “Fauxkeball,” that can search for specific Pokemon for no discard cost or unlikely situation. So many decks rely on cards like Charizard ex or Ogrepon ex, and now you can find them super easily using a good Arven combo. While not as universal as Ultra Ball or Master Ball, being able to have them come up more frequently will be a great way to accelerate your Tera Pokemon to a dazzling finish!
