Valentine's Day LEGO and ARCS restock, Rebirth, House of Fado, and more -- all at Labyrinth!

Rebirth -- New by Reiner Knizia!

Following a series of calamities that left civilization in shambles, societies around the world are being rebuilt anew in harmony with nature. Scotland lies in ruins and the ancient clans have taken it upon themselves to restore the land. As clan leaders you will compete for strategic control of the land by rebuilding its prestigious castles. Kathleen played last night, and loved it. The board has two sides - Scotland & Ireland - with Ireland being a slightly more complex game. Classic Knizia - easy to learn, but lots of strategic depth. Art is gorgeous.

Beyond the Horizon -- For Fans of Civilization 7

Beyond the Horizon is a civilization game in which players compete to become the most influential society in history through exploration and expansion, development and production, research and technological advancement. The game is played over a variable number of rounds until enough goals have been achieved to signal the end of the game. Along the way, players will earn points for exploring new lands, settling and building new cities, advancing technologically, and increasing their cultural and economic development.

House of Fado -- Run your own restaurant!

A one-hour Vital Lacerda game? Yes, please!!! In Portugal, some restaurants serve traditional Portuguese food alongside performances of fado, a music genre that can be traced to the 1820s in Lisbon, Portugal and is often characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, often about the sea or the life of the poor, while being infused with a sentiment of resignation, fate, and melancholy. In the game House of Fado, players have to manage their restaurant, attract customers, and contract and promote fadistas and musicians, thus gaining prestige for their fado house. Managers will move their staff members to different places to perform some actions, using the same bump action as in The Gallerist.
