We have detected irregular movement on Monster Island. A volcano is erupting. Monsters from all around the world are gathering on the Island, what is happening? They don’t even fight each other... because a greater menace lurks. 

In King of Monster Island, you'll play cooperatively. You and the other players are giant monsters who must work together to defeat a titan-like boss before it finishes building an inter-dimensional portal. Each turn, you'll roll dice to damage other monsters, heal yourselves, gain energy and buy cards, move around the island, activate human support, and increase player fame. 

The boss wins if its minions set up the pylons needed to construct the portal. To win, you (the players) must defeat the boss – keeping it from activating the portal, and preventing it from defeating any player monsters.
