Obsession:Characters Introduces true worker placement in the form of the Constable, Reverend, and Dowager Marchioness, which enables players to exchange objective cards, run off unsavoury guests, and recruit prestige guests. Players can customise their family by replacing 1 or 2 of their ordinary family members with distinguished family members who have new, enhanced favours.

This expansion also supports a cooperative mode for 2 or 3 players!  A malevolence has cast a shadow over the Derbyshire hills. It is rumoured that the disreputable, mercantile Sneyd family, formerly of Staffordshire, is on the rise, leveraging newly ill-gotten wealth in a quest to form an alliance with the Fairchilds of Alderley Hall. The local upstanding families have united in opposition to the grasping Sneyd clan, declaring that they shall rally together to defend Derbyshire honour!
