In this Pentominoes Chess Game, each player chooses 6 pieces (do not use the square piece), alternating picks, until all are chosen. Alternating turns, each player then places a piece on the board. The object of the game is to be the last player to place a pentominoe piece on the checkerboard. The pieces must not overlap or extend beyond the boundary of the board. The game will last at least five, and at most twelve, moves, can never result in a draw, has more openings than chess, and will fascinate players of all ages.
